The other side of the mirror

You cannot believe how happy I am right now. XD
These are my two favourite characters ever, and I'm happy because I was finally able to draw them with much accuracy.
I admit, adapting manga style art to my "realism" style was a hurdle, but I think I did fairly well.
I always end up thinking the characters I draw are like cosplayers. They wear the same things, but there's always something that doesn't resemble the original character...
Mah bois and gurls, resemblance is what all true fanartists strive for...

Haha, so to the left we have Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck (correct spelling ), an Arrancar starring in Bleach. In my opinion, she is the best thing that happened to the series. I wish she could have had a longer role... We meet Nell as her weakened "child" form when Ichigo and crew enter Las Noches. She is simply ADORABLE! She and her fraccion provide comic relief in this part and I just wanted to hold her since she was so cute.
Then, her power comes back when Ichigo's life is threatened by Nnoitra Jiruga, another Arrancar. She transforms into this beautiful young woman... being the previous Tres Espada, (3rd Sword, powerful Arrancars are rated from 0 to 9, 0 being the most powerful) she drives Nnoitra back with incredible power, notably with her Cero Doble and Lanzador Verde in her Resurreccion form of a centaur. Sadly, her energy runs out, reverts to child form, and is harshly kicked away by a very badly injured Nnoitra. Although Orihime heals her, we don't see her again. But, we do see a flashback where she wears the uniform you see now. But that's it. Oh yes, she is actually well-endowed in the chest area and her suit is thick, which enhances that fact even more...

On the right is Nephenee of Melior, a soldier which joins Ike's party in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and comes back again in Radiant Dawn, PoR's sequel. Her armour is of her Halberdier class, up from Soldier and just before Sentinel. (Of which I have a pic in my gallery) She is so cute as well. She is also a very trustworthy unit, she can become quite the tank.

Now between them is a mirror. As I was discussing with one of my dA friends of drawing these two individually, my mind clicked at the many resemblances between the two. First, both names start with Ne , both have blue-green hair, wear a "helmet", use spears at some point, are powerful allies, have a special way of talking (Nephenee has a thick country accent, Nell in her child form has a cute lisp), and both are quiet, yet playful characters. Although, Neph is left-handed while Nell is right-handed. Finally, of course, both are beauties.

Anyways, so I felt shading was a pain this time, trying my best to make it even, but it seems a little choppy. And Neph, I love your armour, but dang it, it's so much work!
But, I do find I did a good job on Neph's scarf, folds are the bane of my existence. And look at Nell's skull, I'm so proud of it!
